Here’s just the ticket, a jive jumping playlist from Dave Ghoul, a resident DJ for Philadelphia’s monthly steampunk event, Dorian’s Parlor. He’ll keep you dancing with this mix of punk cabaret, electro swing & acid jazz.
Dave Ghoul is a longtime DJ and event organizer from Philadelphia that specializes in Dark Alternative Dance Music. He has performed at some of the largest dark-themed events in the U.S. and is well known for his energy, versatility and large arsenal of music. With 15 years of experience in DJing and event organization, along with a strong love of all things spooky, Dave Ghoul brings a high level of knowledge and distinctive entertainment unmatched by most.
Dorian’s Parlor is a sensuous spectacle of vintage glamour shining in the heart of Philadelphia. Housed at the Doubtletree Hotel on the Avenue of the Arts, this event is a haven for artists, bohemians, socialites and neo-vintage lovers of all stripes and inclinations. The gorgeous event space housing the party features both a grand ballroom and an outdoor patio for a mix of moods and climates.
This Saturday they celebrate their one year anniversary with a lineup of incredible performers, bands, artists and fashion designers. The whole evening has been formulated like a fine elixir to amuse, tantalize and amaze. Featuring live performances by This Way to the Egress, and Voltaire, a fire performance troupe, and a fashion show by Anthony Canney. It is also the exclusive release event for G. D. Falksen’s debut novel “Blood In The Skies”, a fast-paced steampunk adventure story set in a world of excitement, danger, and aviation. And that’s not all! Dave Ghoul will be spinning song after song to help dance the night away. There will be a vintage style photo booths and a mountain of door prizes and give aways.
